howdy from Wisconsin
Hi folks! I'm very very VERY new to scrapping (it's been one week now... haha), but I have read more and more online each day.
These forums are great! To think of all the metal I've carelessly thrown out in my 45 years makes me shake my head. I don't
drive... and the city bus won't let me haul a washer/dryer onboard... so I'll be a hobbyist and keep my day job. :) I'm starting
with cans and have collected about 200 so far. Also found a 3 foot long, ~20 lb. piece of steel lying on a "free stuff" table at work.
I'm glad that I didn't pitch my broken vacuum in the garage last summer... now I can explore the innards and cut the cord off! :D
