I've sold motherboards before but I'm trying to learn more about them.
To my knowledge there's a few different types:
•Green P3-4 Small and Large socket. Go together.
•Coloreds, Large Socket, pinless.
Go Together.
I have a whole bunch but don't know how to sort them. Can someone explain how to sort Motherboards, Fingerboards (& trimmed/devalued), duel socket server boards and telecom boards. Just walk me through the essentials
P.S. When I sell the boards do I sort them by the pentium grade or color?

usually large socket, it doesn't matter the color
some buyers group all small socket, and some put the small socket green in with the large socket.
I believe small socket is generally P4 and newer?

I would advise finding a buyer for your escrap and then asking how they want them sorted and what they will pay for each. Check out boardsort for a sample of a their price sheet and some pictures. Hope this helps.
