Hi from Wisconsin

Hey everyone, I've learned a lot from you in the past few months as I expand into E-waste so I decided to join. Thank you for sharing your wealth of knowledge! I look forward to joining in the discussions and sharing what I've learned.

I'm self-employed and have been installing storm doors for over 20 years. I've always recycled the aluminum and steel from the old doors and break everything down to maximize profit. Until recently I always threw away the die cast handles because the yard I used to deal with told me they were worthless. I learned on SMF die cast has value so I checked around and now get another $20/mo. for those.

This past year work was slow so I started breaking down any electronics I could get my hands on. I enjoy tearing stuff apart when I watch TV at night and it keeps me busy during the winter when there's nothing going on.
