Yes he's a Pure Lab... wonderful Guard dog, I'm hard of hearing and he lays next to our bed and sometimes in our bed.. ugghhhh, and he can hear people outside walking around the house.. and he goes nuts,, starts barking,, up a storm, We let him out and let him do his work... we've a sign that says no trespassing, so anyone on our property he won't bite them but he will bark until he or she runs from off our property, if he gets close to the door he will stand in front of the door and won't let you get close until we use our safe word with him.. and I'm sorry to hear about your buddy... I'm sure he misses you too.
