Gotta idea, sorta.
Went to get the mail tonight, found another 2 beer cans next to my mailbox from road poppers driving down my road. Now I don't mind free AL cans delivered to my front door but I am half tempted to build a 4X4 plywood target with a can recycling sign over an old plastic trash can to make it more sporting.. LOL think I can increase my AL can haul?

Gotta idea, sorta.
it can't hurt lol
it might attract cops looking for booze cruisers though as an ill side effect. ;)
-
Go for it. I bet it fills up by Sunday morning!
-
great Idea go for it, you may be surprised at the results.
-
Just make sure the local recycle group doesn't snatch it from ya. Heh. If you got one anyway.
Good Idea! I don't drink an drive, so sorry my cans won't be visiting. ;)
Sirscrapalot - Can me!

Sad to say.. just be prepared for the KFC boxes, Polar Pop Cups, and Taco Hell Wrappings along with the saweet ALUM Cans!
-
The question is not why, but why not? Nothing to lose on that idea.
-
ive seen those but always assumed it was the owner putting out their recycling for scrappers to take
-
I would put a bullseye target, rather than a recycling symbol simply because if they are tossing cans out the window, recycling is not on their mind....But if you give them a target to aim for...
-
That is funny...we have been talking about putting up a bullseye up in our front yard just for this purpose. Live on a rural street and get a lot of cans - just trying to think of a way to get them more localized (in my yard). Can put up 2 bullseyes facing different ways so that get traffic from both directions. Equal opportunity for both drivers and passengers.

I don't think I'd put a bullseye anywhere near a roadway, specially not in a residential area. just my .02 ; )
