I have a few radiators laying around from some old trucks and combines to be scrapped, the one from the combine has yellow looking tanks could that be brass?
Do a magnet test first. Then do a grinder test. If it sparks, it's steel. If it doesn't spark, it's probably brass. Then look at the cut you made. If it's yellowish all the way through, it's brass.
They're likely either aluminum or brass. Take the plastic off the aluminum and steel off the brass. Some of the tubes in the brass ones are steel; some brass. Only the magnet knows.
