Had a guy that traded me a '93 ranger for this van I had setting around. I rescued it from a storage unit.
Was going to make it my scrapper van but just never seemed to get the time to put new brake lines on it.
He replaced the stuck motor in the truck so I'm going to take some short shake-down runs close to home before I get into any serious load hauling. It's not pretty but looks to be real functional, not a total rustbucket.

I had an 89 ranger 4X4 that would take anything you could throw at it. I pulled into the yard one time and the scale guy said I had more weight on that little truck than 90% of the F350's.

Here's my new addition, no more scrapping in my family car. I have used my car so long I'm not going to know how to act with my own truck. I just knew there was some reason I hung onto that van. I drug it out of the storage unit, threw the jumper cables on it and it turned over twice and started right up after 8 years. Set right there and idled away on 8 year old gas. After all the bad luck I've had lately, maybe something is finally going to go my way.

Just needs a good cleaning and a radio, can't go scrapping without tunes. They took the original stick transmission out and put an auto in up on the column. One drawback I see is this truck has 14" rims and tires on it, I'm going to try trading with my local junk yard for 15's with tires. Heck, it even has a Reese hitch bolted on under the bumper.

Mech, thats a perfect scrapping truck, they get so many dings and scratches even trying not to make them, its perfect.
