It's finally my turn... mother load.
So I've been away from the forum for a good long while, between work and school I haven't really had time to scrap... or do much else for that matter so I haven't actively pursued it, at least not till I graduate.
Through word of mouth though, and doing little things like taking other peoples cans at work, it's gotten around that I do a bit of scrapping. One of those people was a teacher at my school, who also does a sort of computer reclamation thing where he get's computers and puts together a functional one and donates it, the leftover he holds onto for parts.
Well, this past couple weekends he had to move his base of operation, from the building he was using, to his garage.... which is significantly smaller. As a result I currently have a one car garage full of computers, parts and associated items, along with a relatives 2 car garage about half full. I spent last night just sorting through the boxes of parts in my garage and already have a 15 gallon tote full of finger cards and ram, 10 or so motherboards, a shelf full of various drives, a giant pile of power supplies, and even some of the good CPUs... so yeah, I'm a happy camper. All off word of mouth too...
Had to tell someone, and ya'll are the only group that would get it. :-)
It's finally my turn... mother load.
super job!!!! word of mouth is still the best way to get the goods. start building boxes for some of the buyers here. seems to be the best prices around for shippable stuff. congrats again. be sure to print up a business card so he remembers you.
happy dance!!!!!!
