For everyone in Melbourne i have found a e-waste buyer not too sure on how much they pay they are located in Laverton North the name of the place is pacific metals, Hope this helps somone also thet pay well with ferrous and non ferrous not too sure about the IT waste tho.
You'll probably want to check their IT waste closely before getting your hopes up. My guess is their prices will be low, possibly very low
ill be taking some of my IT waste in on tuesday we'll see how it goes its not much tho
the best option in your area could be to assemble whole containers and ship it to a refiner overseas(and likely not a far fetched idea). I've recommended it on several occasions here, and have no doubt there's already people there doing it, but probly shipping it to china, or other places where EPA regulations are of no concern

I'd think a full container be nearer 40 ton, as well as the most cost effective shipping method, but you can do less than container load too. I knew a woman who moved from OZ to Sweden and shipped some of her things in a partial container load, along with other peoples things that filled it. I'm not sure how much it cost, or how it worked when she picked it up in Sweden, you'd just have to check it out, might need someone to pick it up at the dock when it arrives. I guess you'll know you'd need someone on the other end whom you can really trust ; )Quote:
