This one's more wood than metal, but it's still made entirely of scrap. I needed a vise in the shed for cleaning radiators, so I made this:

If I were actually using it, the lag bolts would be screwed into the shed floor. When I'm done using it, I just back the lags out and hang the vise from the rafters.
