Taking the next step
Hi, I'm Ken from the middle of the mitten (aka Michigan). Been helping scrap cars and various other items when i was 10 up until about 18. Now with money becoming tight I'm trying it on my own to do for some supplemental income.
I currently have a 3 Chevy 3500 SRW that I got given to me by a neighbor that I help scrap when she needs. No trailer right now because do not have a lot of space to scrap, only what can fit in the garage. Once I get a place out side of town want to move up to cars and other big items.
I have plenty of a variety of tools because of being a new auto mechanic. Only have one for sure auto shop (that I work for) that I pick up from regularly.
I'm here to see what i can do to improve my profit and make it easier on me scrapping.

Welcome to the forums from a sandbar off the coast of NC!
Quite a few of you folks from the..lol..mitten..lol..here. I'm so gonna tease your fellow MI'ers about that one!
Far as learning more on the car angle, you might want to look for posts from Cory, Tater, Liberty, and quite a few others ( no disrespect guys! I can't remember what everyone does!) on here. They are a font of wisdom when it comes to scrapping cars an making the most off'm.
So kick back, find yourself a nice thread to start with, an go to town! I know if I needed advice on scrapping cars/trucks/etc the folks on here that do it would be my first to call or pm, or whathaveyou.
Good luck!
Sirscrapalot - The car guys here are top notch. All of them.
