All hale king copper & constituents

Like any copper collector I like to see copper have value . I would feel bad if copper hit .70 as it once did But then I'd anticipate low fuel prices big time

Safe to say the markets are linked and like a horse race some gain and loose ground to gain once more.Wile food is most important we take that for granted. Clearly the price of oil sets the market, hinged on the gamble we all can afford it.

Well back to king copper see I took 35 lbs with me on a small trip i was planing to sell on the way to the yard I frequent . But time did not allow . So here I am at another community about 60 to 70 miles away,I found a scrap yard , and indeed he was happy to pay $2.50#
After receiving the cash it occurred to me how universal copper is (same for all metals) but copper is a good pay for size .
Brass & lead are also good payers for size

Have you considered being buried in a copper lined coffin or copper urn? LOL!!

I like copper too. Love hoarding it. It's a addiction.

i dont know if u guys are the same
but i find it more exciting to strip something & remove the copper in it rather than selling it whole for a greater amount of money than what i would get at the scrapyard.

Well gas is up 40 cents a gallon in the last 2 days..did cu take the same jump..havent been to the yard since monday..

I have a lot of unfinished projects to strip possibly years worth I collect any thing copper . Any copper item will always have a gain compared to selling as is .Ceiling fan motors generally are heavy with 1/4 lb copper so those approach no real gain But heck if copper ever went real high then tiny transformers would look good.

I could be wrong but my realistic feeling is copper is like silver & gold its our economy . If copper ever hit $10 per pound the people who have it will make a good buck but once your sold out your gonna have to deal with higher price goods all around

WOW!! Gas up .40, gas went from 3.39 to 3.25 around here. I don't know about copper ,haven't checked on it sense spot price fell.
