Are all aluminum pots and pans made of cast aluminum?
By me, fry pans get graded as sheet.
No. Try bending them. If they bend, they're sheet. If you hit them with a hammer and a chunk breaks off, it's cast.Quote:

It boggles my mind that a manager of a scrap yard doesn't the diffrance between sheet and cast aluminum. Was this yard buying aluminum pots and pans as extruded aluminum or did somebody throw them in that pile because they didn't know any better?? Maybe I should bring my pots and pans to that yard.:lol:
