Welding rods
Welding rods will go bad if left exposed to moisture. They just won't burn right, and you get lousy welds.
I'm sure they've got some value to them though, since they are mostly steel.
Anybody have any idea what they're worth? I'm thinking they'd probably be considered shredder material, or would they be worth less than that?

If someone came to my yard(where i work) with welding rods, they would get payed as light iron.

I would have to wonder if it depended on the rod. When I had to weld some cast, I used nickel rod. Not sure the actual makeup of it, but it's not cheap.
Can't you put them in a oven on low heat to dry them out? Or once they've had moisture, nothing can be done?
