I need a little help my buyer doesn't care if I remove my ic chips On my boards so I pull them off my low grade there silver in color legs havnt come across the gold ones yet so if you guys could tell me the price on ic chips an any buyers that are recommended on the forum

I think one of the buyers here pays $6 a pound for them.

Those are ones that have gold showing. The plain Jane ones I normally get from most boards including low grade boards are the ones buyers here are paying upto $5-$6lb. The ones showing gold would be worth seeking higher prices as Jghilion has pointed out. MikeQuote:

im seeing $10 on plain ics, $30 on silver windows, $50 on gold windows and $100 on gold windows with gold legs, ceramic gold top/legs is the highest. ebay completed listings

average 13% on eBay/Paypal fees = $1.30

I sent you a PM. I don't remember ever seeing a gold or silver IC chip on low grade boards most gold chips will be on higher grades of boards.
This is where people lose focus on costs. Driving to the post office costs you money unless you walk and even then it costs you money.Quote:

Lets assume you drove and it took you 30 minutes and the miles were 10. Well it costs about $0.50 per mile to travel so that will be $5 but you will get that back in tax's. Well 30 minutes of time is still $12.5
But you also need to factor in time it takes to weigh them, take pics and list on ebay. Lets assume your fast and this takes 30 minutes. That's an additional $12.5 of time.
Now if i was bringing them to my supplier it take lets say 5 minutes to pack them into the car with the other material. That 5 minutes cost me $2.08
Ebay is better in large bulk but for small amounts. Buyer's win hands down.
