just from curiosity, if you don't mind, what is a "full blade chassis" ?
A blade cassis is a box so to speak that "blade servers" will plug into. It's what controls the blades and such. They normally come in 2,4,8,and 16 blade configurations.Quote:

The one i work with on a daily basis is a 8 blade cassis and weighs 429 pounds fully loaded. Empty the chassis weighs 108 pounds.
You will know when you find one. Also they have good resale value as the one we have cost $18,000 for the chasis, 20k for each of the 8 blades and about another 30k for the various expansion modules.

Well the value of the system is dependent on the hardware. Our blades only cost 5k base but once we add an extra drive, fiber module and up the ram from 16 to 256GB it gets expensive.
