Hot water boiler
Ok, i need one of those "free, let someone else do the homework for you, give it to them on a silver platter" type of answers.
Local auction ending tomorrow has a hot water boiler and no one bidding on it. From a strictly scrap perspective, is there enough in it to justify the $150 (minimum bid) cost? Never dealt with one of these before. May consider parting it out but just came across it and not sure of condition of interior components.
Thanks!

Last one I scrapped was only 500 pounds, so 50 bucks in scrap. You definitely want to take a look in person at this if $150 is the minimum bid. Assuming this is scrap if someone wanted me to take it away they'd be paying me.

No. That's probably why there are no bids.

That's an old one. You will be lucky to make your money back on the scrap. If the valves regulators and temp controls are in good shape you might be able to move them and make your money. Go with caution though.

Looks like something you'd lose $$$ on at $150 if your just buying it to scrap it.

Thank you guys for the insight. I'm going to pass on it because i just dont have time to inspect before the auction ends. I really appreciate you guys on this forum and your helpfulness!
