Hi, I'm an artist / guitarist. I'm looking for beat up metal tubing, brass fittings, rivets, gauges, metal wire, cables. Does anyone have any of these items at a minimal price? It would be greatly appreciated. thanks.

The majority of us are here to maximize our profits, not minimize :)

Hey Steampunker, welcome! Take a trip to your local scrap yard. If anyone can help you with that stuff they can. Garage sales work really well too.
3 out your 6 posts stated the same thing since you joined in November. No one sells anything on the cheap, they sell at fair market scrap value or better than scrap value. Try reading some old threads on where to find this material. Try going curb shopping on garbage night, i am sure you could find what you are looking for doing that, just like the rest of us do.
If it is legal where you live - look in dumpsters outside of construction sites. You could also ask at auto repair and auto body shops if they would save some of their stuff for you.
Check your local Habitat for Humanity restore store. Search your area with website below.

Lots of used hardware and parts for your steampunk art and its cheap. It's like a big yard sale.
Good luck

Some pictures of your scrap art would be cool, and might help us know what you are looking for. I assume that minimal prices means above scrap price, but below resale price?
I guess I'm on the wrong site. I'm not saying I want to buy stuff below resale price, I'm looking for a bucket or 2 of items at a time, not a truckload. I guess I'll just follow some of the advice some of the other members here have given me. Thanks for your time.
Check around see if theirs anyone nearby that works on boats, might be a source for some brass, the gauges and some of the other stuff ya mentioned. Most places that sell boats and such usually have some real junkers sitting around.
I have a good supply of small mechanical parts like pulleys and gears 6" diameter and smaller. Id start saving them up if you need them.
how about aluminum pistons with steel connecting rods?
