Need help identifing
Up until now, I have been lazy with my e-scrap, and have been just chucking it, or selling ram and motherboards on eBay. I want to know how to make a little more both at my scrap yard, and on eBay, since I am always coming across this stuff. These questions might seem stupid, but am curious and would like to know the answers.
Thanks for your patience and help.
A - Ripped off the fingers, do I sell the board on eBay or low grade board?
B & C - Same board as "A", but are these gold?
D - Do I cut the fingers off, and sell the rest as low grade? eBay or scrap yard?
E - Is this gold?
F - Cut off or not? Should I just sell the entire ram chip as is on eBay?
G - Hard Drive board. Do I cut off tip?
H - Is this gold?
I - Phone jacks....is this gold?
J - Cut off hard drive connector
K - Is this gold?
L - Sell the motherboard on eBay as is?
M - Do you typically cut these out and sell on eBay or just sell the board as one?
N - These gold?
What is the difference between the high-grade and low-grade boards?

Have you taken the time to look at all the "sticky" threads in the Electronic Recycling sub-forum? Most of that stuff is discussed repeatedly.

First off all your answers are already here back in the archives.
A- If you have a lot of them then ship them to a buyer unless you want to mess with ebay. mid-hi grade
B-C yes
D I'd sell it as fingercard.
E- yes
F- I'd sell them whole,
G- I sell them whole
H- yes
I-yes
J- no
K- yes, the dots
L- yes, as is
M- Leave them on and sell
N- Yes
As an answer to quite a few of your questions now and in the future, gold always plugs into gold.

None of that stuff is low grade.
Don't cut fingers off ram
The other finger boards will probably be priced on sort if you sell them to a buyer, or bid on ebay. They will be a mid grade probably a little below mother boards
Laptop boards are usually higher than mother board.
Sell Hard drive boards whole, the should be over $10 lb, connectors sell for well below that
There is a buyer that pays $4 lb for floppy drive connectors, but you have to read to find him, or maybe he will message you. There is a lot of info on this site, we will help, but you have to read soem old posts too. Thats how i learned
