Why a 486 is valuable

Every time I look at the guts of a CPU I still think of the trillions of dollars in research that got us from vacuum tubes to todays multi core beasts. There is more too it then just gold wires.

Nice pic, I have to go touch mine now. I felt it move.

I know what you mean I am amazed with some of the stuff people give me for scrap. Then I search ebay and there is no market for it so it gets scrapped and I think about the $$$ people paid for the stuff a few years ago.
