Remove All Heatsinks and Metal Questions

I've read this recently, and wonder how far it goes.
Photo One shows metal around the CPU socket, a heatsink to it's left(I think what's referred to as the northbridge) and two other heatsinks towards the top, which appear to be well attached

This shows the metal around a CPU socket which, it seems, would tear off the socket to remove

And in this one what to do? There is metal around the PS/2 connectors, the Serial and Video connectors, the USB and Ethernet connectors, and the Sound connectors

Depends on your buyer. I remove the aluminum heatsinks with a screwdriver or pliers. I have been leaving the metal around the cpu socket as well as around the PS2, USB, Serial, etc ports. I also check to make sure the metal or plastic bracket that is on the back of the MOBO is off.
I weighed the metal bracket & one of the larger heatsinks the other day. They were 6 ounces.

Bear the rule I go by is if the metal is attached with a screw or a plastic fastener then it comes off the board. The metal around the ps/2,USB,video ect stay on since they are soldered on the boards. As far as heat sinks I take them all off, don't know of a buyer that wants the added weight left on.

If you want clean price from me just remove the heatsink. You can leave the heatsink on if you want dirty price.
