Hello, I'm an artist / guitarist. I make Steampunk Guitars. I'm looking for old beat up pieces of metal, brass, rivets, copper tubing, Old gauges,gears,cogs. Was wondering if anyone knows any place to obtain these items free, or at least for a minimal price, and not be chased out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

not to take away from what olddude offered, as you'll find him to be a very fine fella, but you also might try talking to your local scrap yard, and maybe working something out with them as well
