Last week seemed to cover a little of everything....I set these items aside to be sold rather then scrapped.

Moving up in the tech scale is this fork lift battery charger. It will be tested and hoping for the best.

And now for the high tech category.

Working Dell 6400. Looked like someone spilled a glass of wine on it and left it for dead...Battery is no good but works with cord that came with it.

Mid 90's IBM ThinkPad that boots up.

And finally a At&t PC6300 from the mid 80's. Powers up but is having a problem with it's Boot Straps...??? Hard to say if the Fork lift charger or this is going come out a head when all said and done.

Last week, my "keepers" consisted of: a pile of fishing poles with reels (medium quality, I think... I gave them all to my father-in-law who is a fishing nut), several very large lamps (one of which was a brass one that weighed a TON... that one was definitely not a keeper... the others I gave to my mother-in-law), a working keyboard/synthesizer, and a brand new Rubbermaid tote (with lid) that fits perfectly between the seats in my van. I was most excited to find the tote, out of all that crap. My wife was happy that I found stuff for her parents, though, so I guess that's good for me, too.

LMAO! Look at the ad on the picture of your SMF - the cart buster ad. Considering your first pic was the shopping cart I got a good laugh out of that!!!!

That is funny Newattitude...I didn't notice till you pointed that out.

One last item was a International Harvester Freezer that was totally trashed but I did pull this 3'' badge, as it is probably worth a few bucks.

That old IBM seems to be missing a hard drive (or the hard drive is broken).

Bootstrapping is usually just shortened to boot.

If you can find a bootable floppy it might work (looks like it might be a 5 1/4")

What model thinkpad is that (too blurry to make out the number)?

The Boot strap error on the 6300 might just be that there is no OS floppy to boot from (since it doesn't have a hard disk).

Good idea M688, I'm sure it could be done.

Thinkpad is a 2620 with Windows 95 unknownk.

2620 is a type (360 series for example), but the model is printed in the area between the screen and the keyboard up front by the left hing (too blurry to read in your pic).
