THANK YOU! I just wanted to take a moment to thank every member of this forum. Due to the overwhelming amount of knowledge this site has to offer I passed my first buying test yesterday.

I met with an Individual who told me he cleaned out estate homes and he had some computers and electronics to sell. I show up at his place and walk in his garage and sure enough he does have quite a bit stuff. The things I buy was a complete tower, an extra power supply, and a disk drive. Total 25 pounds. I paid 5.50 for those items.

Now, where the real test came in was when he plopped up I 25 gal tote of boards he wanted to sell. He said they were motherboards and he wanted 2.00 a pound for them. So much to his surprise I started sorting and naming off the different grades of boards. Turns out 90% of the boards were low grade boards from Crt monitors. There were however 2 Tele com boards, a server board, 1 us high grade motherboard, and half a dozen chinese colored boards. So after I identified everything and explained to him what he actually had we negotiated a deal of .12 per pound and I walked out with the tub for 3.60 and a new regular customer.

So thanks to everyone on this forum I averted a huge loss.
