I found toy train tracks about 20 lbs worth, looks to be from the 1930's along with 2 thin metal train cars the quality seems cheep tin like & tarnished dirty - Looks Tobe a wind up toy but it has 3 rails for power ?? has any one found these kind of things cause i am ready to bring these to the yard as they are not mint . The problem is I don't think i can have any more things to organize ,Some one might pay $25 ?? and they will have to be a real train die hard hobbyists

If its old you have a better chance to sell it. So give it a shot post a pic up on craigslist with an ad.

As a Lionel train aficionado, and a low-level expert on these things, the tin cars you are talking about are what they refer to as "pre-war" meaning they were made before WWII. Unfortunately unless those cars are pristine collectors don't place much value on them. Check evilbay for recently sold similar items to see what they are going for.
There are a lot of windup locos and they ran on the same tracks as the electrical trains. You would probably be best selling as a lot on CL.

HO model rail track is made from Nickle Silver, the older the better.

Actually the 3 rail track he describes would be for O gauge trains. Neglected to mention the trains could also be Marx. Post or PM me pics and I can identify them for you.

looked like Marx but they were very tarnished and rusty at areas I found a individual who sells all sorts of odds and ends - I sold the set for $10 & also received 34 pounds of lead coated copper wire as thick as a carrot the yard offered me $34 for the wire I have never work on this kinda wire there are 3 nice sized copper wires and some rope insulation I will do a test section to make sure processed it works higher then the $1 per pound offered . .Sorry guys if i sold out so soon but I am overloaded with items But it was not meant to be me to enjoy the train items
