i'm new to e scrapping and i was wondering if the aluminum found on the circuit boards was a different type of aluminum or if aluminum is all the same, if it is different what type is it and is it more valuable compared to other aluminum types

Most of it will be what's called "extruded". You should get .10 to .15 more than for sheet aluminum.
the flat sheet is regular alum. and with the fins usually is extruded, Might have to pull the little pins out that hold it to the board. check the pins as some are alum. and some are steel.Quote:
