pronably a security screw of some type. look up security bits.

My method isnt complicated...typically involves a 3/8" thick chain, a large oak tree and my Dodge 2500 w/cummins diesel. If you got those tools you are capable of taking it on. Otherwise i would just drill out the screws...

What makes them impossible to get out? Will it just not turn or is it at a weird angle and you can't get your screwdriver lined up? Is it a different kind of bit that you dont have one that fits it?
-
4 1/2inch grinder and start hacking

Try inserting the screwdriver, just like you would to take out the screw, but instead of turning, take a hammer and smack the end of the screwdriver straight into the threads, a lot of times this will loosen the threads enough to allow the screw to start turning. Just don't hit it to hard or you might bend or break something. Hope this helps.

I am not sure if you have an Ace Hardware store nearby. But here in Wisconsin they sell special / security, bits for your screw driver. Maybe that will help you out.

Get a cold chisel and hammer the head off. Angle grinder works good too.

Somtimes a slight turn to the right (tighten) you will feel a snap then to the left (loosen) will make impossible screws come out. This works almost all the time on many kinds of fasteners.

Adam, is it the shape/type of screw ? Is the screw a Reg type that's stuck? Or, is it the location of the screw that makes it ****ing impossible?
The more information you divulge, the more information you'll receive.

Drill is the quickest and easiest way to get rid of FUBAR screws.

WE'RE GONNA NEED A BIGGER HAMMER!!! :p
Although I'd probably go with the 4 1/2 grinder myself.
