yeah i just saw the battery testers on ebay. but its not really a good investment most of the laptops you are gonna get are gonna have bad battery's you'll be lucky to get one that still holds 75% of its charge. but anyways heres a link on with the multimeterQuote:

check the bios settings on the laptop, some have a recalibration tool. It's not often, but you might get lucky

The only cheap way to realy test a laptop battery is to charge it and run it on the correct laptop. You can buy something like this: Newest Laptop Battery Tester - Buy Best Universal Laptop Battery Tester,Portable Universal Automatic Battery Tester,Universal Automatic Battery Tester Product on Alibaba.com but unless you sell a ton of batteries/laptops it will take a while to pay off.
