Newbie question here...what is a core guy?
more or less a core can be many different things... but in general, it means something that can be rebuilt and sold again.... things like transmisions, brake calipers, alternators, starters.... all must be complete to be considered a core
and a core GUY is just that - a guy who buys cores.

The apple core is what's left after all the good is gone, maybe that's about like other cores, just the worn out remnant of a once good unit. Starter cores, Carburetor cores, brake cores.
If you worked at a brake shop, and the bin of used brake shoes was full, you'll call the "core guy" to come get em ; )
