This is the first of these I have broken down. It contained several small but at least mid grade boards. Also included are the items in the photos.

These photos are of the same chip and board just reversed and the chip on the side. Lots of screws to get it apart. Mike.
The gold DLP chips on brown ceramic will usually bring brown ceramic cpu chip price. If its a working chip, I've seen them get 14.00-25.00. I have broken down a lot of these tv's, reason being the chip went bad......:cool:
This was not a tv it is a projector.
The chip is a purple ceramic, don't know if that makes a difference.
I have seen some located in a government building for projecting onto screens, used for briefings. Similar to the projectors we used in the old days but this type uses imput from digital sources and projects the image onto a screen.
The reason for my post was to alert the scrapers here not to pass up these type of projectors. Thanks for reading and responding. Mike.
It would have been nice to see before you tore apart. Our price on our web site shows $85.00 / lb on these chip's but that is being changed to $70.00 /lb on them.
I know what you mean about the screws, never broke down one of those projectors but most electronics that I brake down have a ton of screws. It makes me wish I was in the screw manufacturing busness.
