This is about the third post I've seen in the past week or so like this. I'm really considering deleting it. Substitute "used car" for "catalytic converter" and it'll be the same.
In NC , you might have some problems getting a scrap yard to buy it from you, due to new state laws. Try using scrapmetalforum.com for locating scrap yards in your part of NC. Hope This Helps.
I agree Mick. Asking for the price of a cat without telling us what kind of vehicle it is off of is about as ambiguous as people calling me everyday and asking what we are paying for insulated wire. I usually try to ask a few leading questions to try an ascertain what they have. My favorite answer when I ask what it was used for is "it was used for conducting electricty".
ya they go from $5-$750 no telling without more info i hate when ppl call me up and are like i got a cat...how much you pay....well what is it off of???
I get $30 per pound for intact ceramic honeycomb bricks. Net $25 per pound after shipping and fees. Crushed honeycomb is $25 - $20.
