i don't think i've seen aluminum ones
i brought some in twice. they were questionable when i had them, as the paint seemed to weigh more than the AL itself, but they took them as old sheet.
i even asked the grader before i put them on the scale, and he assured me it was good to go with old sheet
What's old sheet? Why would aluminum blinds be old sheet.
I used to get these all the time along with ceiling fans when picking through my old apartment complexs nine dumpsters.Quote:

Last time I took a few to the yard they classified it as 'aluminum siding' @ 50 cents a pound.

Almost all blinds even non aluminum wood/plastic have an extrusion rod inside the top bar. Sometimes that top bar is also aluminum and sometimes extrusion.
