Hello from Indiana

Hello all

You got a sort of Newbie, scrapper here. Made few trips to the scrap yard so far.
More of a collector than a scrapper for the last 54 years, but it's time to change modes of operation.
Got Tractors, Bulldozers, Cranes, Appliances, Iron , motors, Cars, Vans, and more, that I was gonna fix up... use parts off of...someday... time to let'em go
I have no titles to any of it, so I gotta cut it up.
Lookin for help to get the most out of it for the least work.
So... I come here....hope you all can help!!

You have found your support group, we support your illness. Welcome to the forum. Check out the old threads, lots of how too info just takes some of your time. You may be surprised what you don't know that makes you money. Mike.

My best advice for someone sitting on tons of scrap metal... Spend many hours reading up on the different types of equipment you have. You'll be surprised on what you find out on this forum. Information that will save you time, sweat and make you a few extra bucks. Then Go find the best yard that best serves your needs. You already have the metal and that's usually the hardest part of the game. Now you must make the right decisions with your tonnage and after doing so, get paid the maximum by going to your preferred scrap yard. Depending how fast you plan on moving your metal, a good yard will provide you a container at your location to put it in to save you time and money having to haul it yourself.
