Need Advice
I was given a lamp something like chandelier in is silver plated on one side with a brass substrate , it has a stamp with B&H with in a circle which my research say it was made by The Bradley & Hubbard Manufacturing Company .This lamp was electric so it is less 125 years old , the wiring looks like it is insulated in cloth, asbestos? Anyway I have called some antique stores and Pawn shops and no one has got back with me! Here is a pic of the very top , If it stops raining I will photo the rest and post it.

I would toss it in my brass bin

i always start my detective work with a search like this
https://www.google.com/search?num=10...w=1331&bih=714
look through a few pages worth of results and see if you can find a match then work backwards from any info
biggest part of the value in any old lamp like that was the shade.....easiest part to get broken....some made by big names like
l.c.tiffany https://www.google.com/#hl=en&gs_nf=...w=1331&bih=714
some oil and gas lamps were also converted to electric so wiring is not always an exact indication of age
good luck with your quest

antique and vintage building supply stores be worth checking with

this would not have a shade though , it is more like a chandelier, I am hoping some dealers contact me if they don't I will expand my zone!

might also try a search for experts or dealers in Bradley and Hubbard
did you try a search using ebay in the keywords ?
-
try and get a few more shots when the rain lets up

Sell this part on ebay. Make sure your detailed about measurements, type of metal. There's a market in repairing antique light fixtures. I've sold some brass canopy's for $60. Antique glass light shades sell good too but people like milk glass & colors like blue and red.
