Now that I'm getting larger loads of eWaste I'm also getting larger loads of plastic waste that's ending up in the garbage. Anyone know of places that buy it? Specifically in Minnesota?

I take all of my plastic waste to my local recycling center. Its free to drop off and frees up space in the garbage.

Place called Royal Oak Recycling pays for plastic at 50 bucks a ton. I'll be trying them for my first load in a couple of weeks and will let you know how it goes.
Burly, is that for mixed plastic/colors? I have had a hard time finding a buyer for my plastic.
Unless you can delivetr tonnage, expect not to get paid. I still make sure it gets recycled as my customers like that. I have 2 big bins typically on recycle day every week.
I like telling my suppliers that I recycle 100% and not be lieing about it.
I have a buyer. Only because i supply more than enough to suit their needs.
Didn't mean to sound so arrogant.....Western Recycling is the company i use.
I don't know about Minnesota, but here in NC, I have a buyer that pays $0.08/lb. You might have some luck trying to using scrapmetalforum.com, generally Ewaste yards will atleast take the mixed plastics for free. However, there ARE some yards that will buy your plastics. Best of luck!!

Plastic recycling has been one of the best options to protect the environs but there are some problems exist with this issue. There are some kinds of plastics which cannot be degradable and scientists have been trying this for more than hundred years.
There are lots of industries, those are involved in waste plastic and polystrene recycling. They are also interested in buy waste plastic, polystrene and styrofoam. It is a good way of earn revenue from your waste.
Hoss, Do you want more? I haven't found a place to dispose of my plastic yet. Don't want to approach them if you are already supplying more than they need as that could drive the price down. Not that I have that much but it's starting to get in my way. If you ever get over to central Oregon and have some room I would give you what I have. Send me a PM if you are interested.
