Business Opp. for Cleanouts

I invest in real estate, I am still new and have a background in construction. Here are a couple of strategies that may work to acquire new business for free appliances and clean out jobs.

1. WE BUY HOUSES signs - if you see one take down the number. They are putting homes under contract to sell to investor's. They may be able to give you some free metals, appliances, and haul outs. Ask them to pass your info along to the investor's on their buyers list.

2. Real Estate Agents - Especially ones the deal with Foreclosures. You can make a goor profit doing foreclosure clean outs, more if you can board up windows, change locks, and cut grass.

3. Rental Ads - Landlords are always being left with a bunch of junk when a tenant leaves. You can call them and have them keep your number.


If you call these numbers keep a list of them and call them every month and remind them that you are the solution when they need your service. Only takes a few seconds and after a few calls they will become more personable. I called one guy I got a number for off a sign for 6 months every few weeks. I called one day and he said oh ya, I'm glad you called I need a property cleaned out NOW. Here's the address got check it out. I did that one same day. I have been doing work for him for a year now, his partner uses me, and he refers someone new every month almost. In addition in the winter I do snow removal for them and have a couple guys out shoveling every snowfall.

You sound just like me! This is what I do as well, and you are right, it is great for business!

I have tried working for other people and it just doesn't fit for me. I have always been a hustler and willing to work for every penny. I enjoy setting my own wage and not getting a paycheck but always being right around the corner from the next big score.

I am the same way. I have been owning companies since I was about 14 if memory serves me right, and I will be 27 next month. For the first 4 years, my father helped me, until his unfortunately passing.

I have worked for other companies from time to time to keep grounded, but like you, I cannot stand some of the bosses that I had. Some were awesome, and gave me all sorts of opportunities, and others were just stuck up rich people etc.

My last "JOB" was working for a tele communications sub contractor. The President/Founder made a bad financial decision and BOOM 70% of the company was gone.

people want to feel secure, and a job aids them in that. i don't want that security, because i compare it to the most secure place. where your meals are made, clothes washed and folded, and doors opened for you? JAIL...
