So, I took apart a big screen tv yesterday evening...to my surprise, instead of brown boards, there was 2 green boards in it.

I know brown boards from anything is low grade, but is these green boards from the big tv also low, or perhaps medium grade?
The larger flatscreens have lots of goodies in them. I picked up some 42" plasmas the other day and found 4 or 5 pounds of high grade boards inside. Also several pounds of Aluminum, a few mid grade boards and lots of wire.
Not sure on the size of this one, but it was a BIG tv. I will take a picture tomorrow and post it. So, is that what those boards are, high grade?Quote:

George, not all of them are, but there are a few motherboard grade in them. I think plasma tvs have more of the higher grade than LCD.
Send pics. taken from diffrant angles to ewasted and see what he has tto say, just a thought.
