So we started accumulating some RAM sticks.
I checked a few on ebay and they all seem to sell under $10 w/ free shipping.
I do not list anything under $20 on there, so it seems I am better off just scrapping them out to a buyer like Ewasted.
Is there a way to test them quickly?
I tried finding someone that pays more for working ones. But could not find one.
I probably overlooked it.
Anyhow. Any input on how to make the most of RAM sticks would be appreciated.

I'm also a buyer of More than Scrap Value RAM. There are at least half a dozen of us on the forum that I can think of off-hand that purchase it.
With more than scrap value, package it carefully, and you'll come out ahead. We all pay something for failed or obsolete sticks. The working sticks will make you the extra money.

What kind of RAM are you looking to test? If you are looking to test a variety of RAM, you would need an elaborate set up. Either several computers, or several motherboards linked to a single computer. You would need a program to perform the various tests. It's a bit more complicated than just plugging it into a computer and hitting the power button.
If he's selling to a buyer, turning on a power button will weed out a lot of the failures. Compared to the turnaround times and costs of other methods, that's what I'd do. Plan on a few sticks failing, though. ;)
So.e ram can be used, and will ssell for a better price as a computer component. The precious metal content is not considered to be a lot, and the processes used to recover values are cumbersome and can be expensive, lowering the value if sold to a refiner.
Check eBay under used computers for prices, you might find you have more value than you think.

Some places use a product called ramcheck or ramcheck LX. It is manufactored by innovations inc. There are adapters for ddr, ddr2, ddr3 and possibly others. This equipment is not cheap. Model to test desktop ddr, ddr2 and ddr3 is $5341.00. Looks like you need adapters for sodium (laptop memory) that are about 2 to 4 hundred each. I'll stick to selling to our more than scrap buyers.
THere are multiple programs to test ram (windows even has a memory diagnostic program built in)........You will need multiple machines/servers/laptops to be able to test all types of memory..........Can be a tedious process but if you know what your doing you can acquire better than scrap value on some modules!
The Ramcheck is definitely not for the faint of heart. Memtest 86+ can do a very good job, plus you'll have the computer to use that the RAM came out of (In a lot of cases, at least). Going that route is well worth your time....
I found that selling RAM on ebay neither works well nor is comfortable, tried it once with a definitely working RAM and sure enough got a bad review "RAM not working, never again". Never again indeed.
