Twice sold microwave turntables, delivered to old addresses

When something happens once, you might consider it random. If it happens twice, it's already a pattern...

I occasionally sell glass turntables from microwaves that I scrap. Works reasonably well through eBay. But twice already I had buyers report those undelivered only to discover that the delivery addresses they gave me through eBay were out of date. If you think it about it makes sense:
    1. People move
    2. In the process of packing/unpacking they drop the turntable and it breaks
    3. They go to eBay and buy a new one, but in the craziness of the move they forgot to update they delivery address in their eBay settings, so the thing gets shipped to the old address.
    4. Hopefully their did address forwarding with USPS and USPS actually forwards the package properly. If FedEx or UPS, I imagine rerouting might be more complicated

So the bottom line is: when selling glass turntables it might make sense to double check with the buyer if their address is correct before shipping. Does not hurt to do it with every item you sell, but in this case more likely to actually prevent problems.
