Have you ever found $ in an item u scrapped?

My brother got a clothes dryer off the curb last night. Went to help, him get it off his truck and when I stood it up I heard the beautiful rattling of change. He pulled it apart and found a five dollar bill and about three bucks in change...

I found a wooden spool of thread and a retractable ballpoint pen in one tower that i broke down; and viewfinder picture wheels and Cranium game cards in another one. Not money but strange things to find in a computer tower...

Determine never to be idle. No person will have occasion to complain of the want of time who never loses any. It is wonderful how much may be done if we are always doing.

Wonder what they were watching then?
I know lying is wrong, but if the elephant man came in now in a blouse with some make up on, and said, "How do I look?" Would you say, bearing in mind he's depressed and has respiratory problems, would you say, "Go and take that blusher off you mis-shapened elephant tranny?" No. You'd say, "You look nice... John""

found almost $20 in a stroller that was already loaded and ready to go to the yard, was strapping my load down and herd the jingle, ripped open the pouch on it and money started comming out. then there is the time that i have already posted about, when i found $35 face value in silver dimes in an old suitcase set out in the garbage. there were 2 $50s wraped around the dimes too.

I've never been lucky enough to find money in anything I've scrapped, but I did find an elusive missing sock in a washer I broke down today!

I found a few coins wrapped in note stuffed inside a 3 1/2" floppy drive on a computer I was tearing down, and just last week I found a $10 bill in the base of a cash register I got for free to scrap. Always the spare change in the driers.
