    My New Project

My Dad years back found two rod iron beds and stored them away. He was cleaning out his garage and decided to make my oldest daughter a complete bed out of them.

So I started painting it last night and will finish it tonight. She goes to preschool Tue. so it will be a nice surprise for her when she gets home.

Very cool. Please take more pictures when you are completed, Mike.

Some of those old iron beds go for unreal amount of money. I use to know a guy around here who would buy all sorts of them and he would take them out to new york and the east coast and sell them. The guy ran into some health problems and haven't seen him in a long time.

    Yours are pretty awesome looking.

Well here she is the finish product. Now I will move it into the house and take another picture when I am finished decorating her room.

The piece of plywood is a good touch. It works wonders. I did that ones when the slats wouldn't stay in place, and then never had another issue!

That is so cool. I love the different design for the head end and foot end of the bed.
