Ha I got a bunch of sayings I have heard over the years.

"You are either a burner or a learner"
"You can only squeeze so much piss out of a buffalo nickel"
"Your tripping over dollars to pick up dimes"
"Stop trying to rub two pennies together you can't turn them into a nickel"
    "Hes so smart hes stupid"

I have a bunch more I have heard people say in this industry over the years I just can't recall them all.

Is there a cop behind me? Cos I'm about to make an illegal turn.

We need bumper stickers that say, "I brake for large metal objects" or "I'd rather be at the cash out window"

While checking prices at the supermarket..

"Hmm, a chocolate bar for $3, thats 1 Lb of Copper..."
    ------------------------

V These cost NZ$4 each, $2.70 on special. ~180gms, US$3 each for Cadburys *(made in Aussie)

Whittakers are 250gms & taste better ~$4 . $3 on special (Made in NZ)

Thats something I can't figure out about the USA, food prices, menues are sooo much cheaper.
ALL you can eat for $10, hell do that here & you'd be bankrupt in a week.

    Milks NZ$3.60 for 2 litres (US$2.88 for 1/2 gallon.
    Petrols NZ$2.20 litre (US$3.52 gallon (4 litres?)

Partner says "that don't weigh much." Slowly gets out of truck, and sadley loads up framing. Gets to scrap yard, and it pays 35 dollars. "wow you showed me something."

Does that old metal shed in your backyard need to get hauled off?

I'm still new to scrapping but one I learned pretty quick right off the bat when trying to pry open an electric motor...
