    Show us your "Scrappers Hideout"

O.K, heres a few pics of where I hide and break stuff down, and a few of the toys that help me.. not the best, or most current pics, but its what I had already in photobucket when I had this thread idea.

    Cheers!

    Adam.

Nice. Look's like you have plenty of room for vehicles, and even a lorry!

That is a nice garage Adam, looks pretty organized there. Looks like you have plenty of room for all that scrap folks have been setting out.

Awesome lair! I'd love to have more than a single car garage for dismantling things.

thats the top shed, we have a smaller 25 x 20 down in the bottom paddock, thats where my cars live, and a single car one next to the house.

Where the red ATV is in the pic, is where the big pile of towers was in the video I did a few threads ago

Worst thing is, more space you ave, the more CRAP you accumulate

    Apartment Scrapping Quarters (married)

These pictures are huge, I'm not a computer guy for the most part, and I tried to resize them and rotate them, but couldn't get it to save...Sorry if you old folks need to take off your binocular glasses

This is our "guest bathroom aka my shop" The cabinets have boxed up #2 insulated inside of them.

Storage space..Toilet on left and Shower on right...My wife doesn't like it.

The linen closet....Really just storage for my small stuff.

Where I do most of my large tear downs...

    Buckets of money

Work bench...There's a cool mirror I can watch myself scrap, or see anyone trying to sneak up on me...

I was a bit worried that you were using your only bathroom and then I could see why your wife was not happy.
I do most of my teardowns in the kitchen but I only work on computers and small appliances.
Hope you get a bigger space soon.

I understand all that lol, and it's a PITA when you have a nosy neighbor. I use my living room as a breakdown area and a 2nd bedroom for storage. For the larger breakdowns I can hide behind my building out of the way and do whatever I have to. The property manager stopped when I was breaking stuff down one day and had some stuff next to the truck and she told me I could do whatever I wanted to as long as I clean up. Just in case I went out and bought a 36" broom and a big "dustpan". lol

LOL @ the bathroom being used as scrap storage!! Ya gotta do what ya gotta do! I have visions of rca's wife being allocated the sofa for her sleeping spot, dressing area and dining area! LOL! "Honey, can you unplug your drill long enough for me to plug in my curling iron? On second thought, I'd better do my hair over here, you might scrap my curling iron if I leave it sit in there.''

Maybe you can get on an episode of "Hoarders:Buried Alive" - do they pay for that?

If your needing any banana boxes, go check out a discount(scratch and dent) grocery cause that's what they use to pick up their groceries. Some will get 20-40 a week. If you get them with the lid then their stackable and you can go 5 or 6 high. I can get all I want of them cause they have to throw them in the dumpster. HMMM I wonder if there's a cardboard buyer around here close????(scratchin' head)

I believe Paul does....... not trying to push you one way or the other....... just the only one I know of.
Now, could you please tell me what a banana box is.........just the boxes that bananas come in? I'm so dumb today.

I have had some banana boxes for going on 30 years...Very strong and durable and with the opening at the top you can see what's in there without opening them. Tomato boxes are nice too.

It is, we have a $500 non refundable deposit here, so figured I had better not waste it.
