Honey Wagon

This little gem, needs a couple of junk tires on rims, which I will pick up at the scrap yard Monday.

The I will tow it home cut a large hole in the top of the tank then fill her up with more scrap before towing it to the yard.

I will have to weld some pieces onto the front of the scrapper to hook up a tow bar, I will be pulling this with a diesel bus that I have.

Since I completed that homebuilt trailer 2 weeks ago, i have been run off my feet with scrap cars. The yard is an hour an half away from me, but I have been working both ends of this milk run.

That is great lol, sounds like you will be really towing a load of crap! Do you think there is any left over honey brewing in the pot?

Clean as a whistle inside, the part that hurts most is there is an almost new 350 cid sitting under the hood. I may just drag this thing home then when I get my skid steer running pull the engine.

LOL joe when I use to get home from work my wife would make me go take a shower before she would even unplug her nose. I would pull that engine in a heart beat.

A forum member would like to purchase the tank, since shipping would kill the deal, I'm going to reply here so hat all our members may take advantage of the information I'm giving..

I used to purchase outdated propane tanks from the large distributors for $100.00 a pop for a thousand gallon tank. A pair of these tanks will sit side by side very nicely on a truck. To double up on capacity you can use a common manifold. A custom build from your own shop.

I used the tanks to suck up used engine oil that I sold to the refinery.

Here's how I obtained my vacuum.

This is a snap if the truck has a gasoline engine, diesels do not make vacuum. Tap into the intake manifold using a 1 inch fitting, come into the cab with the hose where you will have a 1 quart mason jar with a custom lid on it. You need a tap to shut off the vacuum when liquids enters the jar from the tank otherwise your going to drown the engine with waste oil.

Some large diesel trucks come out from the factory equipped with juice brakes, these truck have a nice Bendix vacuum pump running off the engine the only draw back is that you have to make a custom base then add a pressurized oil line with a drain back to the engine. No big deal it can be done, I used one of these pumps with good success.

You will obtain the best vacuum at an idle.
