Who have you seen in concert?

I've been watching and listening to DVD's that I bought at a bargain and thinking about the concerts I have been to.

    Here's my list.

Alice Cooper 3 times with my mother and sisters My mom liked Alice cooper.

Fleetwood Mac 2 times. Once I was in the front row.

Prince 1 time at Duffy's in Mpls.

Eric Clapton 2 times, but the second time was in a small bar where he was just playing a little as he knew the owner. I got to visit with Eric a little as the place was not busy.

    The Who 1 time.

    Ted Nugent 1 time.

    Bob Segar 1 time.

    Nena 1 time.

And last but not least, Frank Zappa 3 times and I got to visit with him twice. The Zappa "concerts" were my favorites as they were FREE for one thing and they were in a small arena. About 100 people or less. That was in Germany where he had a studio. He would do free concerts in small venues and I always got tickets as I was connected.

    Almost forgot about these.

    Amy Grant 1 time

    Lundstroms 1 time

And I never paid as I was invited on all but Zappa where I got the free tickets and invited friends. Got 2 tickets the first time a 4 tickets each other time.

And when I saw Clapton at the small bar it was free.

So who have you seen and heard in concert?

I would have liked to have seen Alice Cooper and Zappa. I would like to be able to say I saw Prince, but I was never a fan, but I had to reconsider when I heard someone asked Clapton what it felt like to be the greatest guitar player in the world and he told the reporter, "he didn't know, and to go ask Prince."

Seger, Who and Nugent.... No, No, No... I would have liked to see all three

Bands I really wish I had seen and didn't, but could have... Toto, Supertramp, Boston (but I don't ever remember them being in concert near me, so...),
Bands I really wish I had seen and didn't, but couldn't have... Led Zeppelin, Lynyrd Skynyrd,

You sure have a list of great bands.

I saw Prince in a small bar when he was starting out. He hadn't messed up his back yet as he jumped down off the amps and started playing. He had Sheila E with him.

I saw Sheila E with some other guys at some club in Minneapolis that I can't remember the name of.

Just happened to be along on road trips with others and happened in on them.

I've never bought a ticket as I was invited by people I knew and figured it seemed like the thing to do.

Many of the bands that were playing in 1977 to 1979, had concerts in Germany when I was there.

I could of saw a few you mentioned in your lists and some you missed seeing.

I've never been much of a fan of crowds so going to concerts was not at the top of my list of things to do.

But I enjoyed myself as I was with friends or family.

Thanks for the reply as I enjoyed reading over your list.
