    .999 Fine Silver Enriched

I noticed that the scam artists are now selling silver plated coins in plastic cases and calling them .999 Fine Silver Enriched.

I would say that those that don't have a real clue about most things are buying them believing they have far more silver in them then they do.

Why people choose to be fooled is still a bit of a mystery for me.

Not much has changed in the way this world operates.

There is still the RICH and the POOR and those that exist in-between.

    The "in-between" are just that,

in-between a made up illusion of power and riches.

Very few seem to take things like vows and such seriously.

There are those that have to make a effort to tell the "truth" and those that have to make a effort to lie.

There are those that want to have slaves under them and those that have no interest in such concepts.

The American civil war was not about slavery in the ways that most try and believe.

It was about COMMERCE as it still is today.

The North didn't like it that the South had a edge with the cheap labor force.

Many people are willing slaves today dreaming about freedom.

and Thank You for shopping Walmart where the low low prices are brought to you by the stock holders and their many underpaid workers.

I visited with a guy that deals in gold, silver and other precious metals the other day and he told me about a young couple that came in with a couple pounds of what they believed to be silver. The pregnant gal had just inherited it from her grandmother. They wanted to sell it for the coming babies as they were expecting twins.

Well it turns out that less then 10% of the "silver" was real and the rest FAKE. The couple waited as he went through it and tested piece after piece finding most of it to not be silver. They got upset as they believed they were being conned or something.

They left with it all, But returned a few days later with what had been sorted out as real and cashed it in as they needed the cash.

Wonder what they did with the rest?

The story is too generalized to draw any conclusions about intentional deception CD. It might have been grandma's silverware or silver tea set. Most folks wouldn't know the difference between sterling silver and silver plate. Investing in silver is really more a guy thing so your story about " FAKE " silver really doesn't ring true.

    You're just obsessed with fakes.

    People paint what they see.

Not sure what you are going on about as the "silver" was coins and rounds. Mercury and Roosevelt dimes. That's what was real along with a few other coins.

    The fakes were "silver" rounds.

I'm not surprised you get "upset" with the talk of there being A LOT of fakes out there. There are fakes of most everything these days with the fakes getting better.

I am learning that MOST people want to believe what they want even if it's mostly of a fantasy and fictional design.

I myself am not blinded by fantasy and fiction very easily as I have never been a fan of fantasy, fiction and make believe.

I still watch recorded media such as movies and such to see and hear what others are watching and listening to that makes them ACT the way they do.

I'm gaining a better understanding of how the programing and brain washing of those in charge at the top are doing the tricks.

I've never had credit cards or a mobile phone as I saw the scams behind them as well as the MANY other $CAM$ that go on every day.

You should count your blessings that I treat you and others with kid gloves most of the time as I understand all the more as the days go by that most people can't handle any truth and facts that get in the way of their love/lust for their fantasy and fiction as a means of escape from what bothers them.

If you want and choose to be fooled by the con artists and programing that rules this world, have at it.

There may be a few that would like to know a little of what's going on out there in real time.

I did ask the guy about how much fakes he sees and he told me not much. BUT he sees more as time goes by.

Most people that buy the fakes must be holding on to them as they may have a inner voice telling them that they may have fakes and they don't want to find out the truth.

If people can believe that crawling under a desk will keep them safe from a nuclear bomb, what else might they believe?

I asked the teacher about the under the desk thing when I was in grade school and she told me that's what you do, simply put.

It didn't make sense back then and it still doesn't make sense to me.

If the under the desk thing makes sense to you.

    Have at it.

I wouldn't have a computer set up if it wasn't for eBay. I bought my first computer years ago as a woman I know was going to sell things for me on eBay. That didn't work out so the new computer sat in it's boxes for 2 and a half years until a friend said if I wasn't going to use it I should let him have it.

I myself have little to no interest in selling on eBay. I do find it to be the worlds biggest yard sale, and I like and enjoy yard sales as part of my hobbies.

I mostly don't sell much as I'm so busy buying and I have little real reason to sell things as I would just buy more with the funds I would receive.

I'm 100% debt free by choice and design.

Just living my childhood dreams, simply put.

WHY do I even bother writing stuff like this?

Because I try to believe that I just might wake up a few others that are tired of the way the world turns out for them enough to GROW UP and leave childish ways behind.

If any of what I wrote bothers you or rubs you the wrong way...

    ask yourself WHY that is.

That's all i needed to know. The rounds and bullion never did make sense to me back when i was investing in PM's. You want something in the way of coinage issued by a reputable government. I did all right with South African Krugerrands despite the whole Apartheid stigma. Gold is gold. People don't really care about the politics.

It's a shame that grandma got ripped off. The best way to lose your money is to invest in something that you don't know all that much about. I guess some people just don't know any better.
