    My partner in crime 1985

H.T. was a lot of fun to have as a partner.

Haven't seen her in 25 years, recently re-connected via Facebook, she's living along my planned route to British Colombia for my planned prospecting trip the first week of 2024. She has asked me to drop in for a visit.

She loves prospecting so there's a chance she may accompany me on this journey. A nice way to start off the New Year,

Some pictures from the early 1980's Heather with her porthole princess, some of her paintings.

It's funny ... i've had this tune running through my head lately. Maybe with the holidays and all ... ya know ? I was doing some work on Dan Fogelberg's house here years back. He seemed like a pretty good guy. Very down to earth. It's a shame he's not with us anymore. His talent was lost to the world. He had his own special way of telling a story.

I'll raise a cup to him this New Year's eve.

Anyhow ... this probably seems random and unrelated but your story reminded me of the tune once again.

That song Hill's sums it up in a nut shell, the images I've shown are from another era. Said we had a lot of fun yes that was true what I've left unsaid shall remain as such. I would rather remember her for her better attributes.

Scrapping paid for her art class's then a meal at the Japanese restaurant a couple of doors down from the studio, then HT took a college course caring for the elderly.

We built a 30 x 60 foot shop, in floor heat, with living quarters in the back. The only thing purchased was concrete and roof truss's engineered for tile, 1x6 yellow cedar tongue and groove on the ceiling. 11 ft ceiling with an overhead electric hoist on a rail.

Heather had a Leopard Appaloosa of which I have pictures of her on the horse but not suited for a family orientated audience, she's in her birthday suit.

These are the things i wish to remember of Heather.

    Heather's horse was named Sultan.

Best wishes for the New Year alloy. It sounds like you and HT had a life together. Whatever happened back then is just water under the bridge now. It don't mean nuthin'. That was a lifetime ago.

Ahh .... you never really know. Things have a way of working out just the way they're supposed to. One way or the other ... it's all for the best.
