Are DVD's going the way of the VHS format?

I have noticed that DVD discs and players are getting cheaper as the daze go by. With the digital downloads and all the recorded media that's online or "in the cloud".

I only watch mostly older recorded media as the day to day programing that others watch and listen to is of little interest to me.

I have been buying nice DVD sets for .50 to $5.00 on the high end as it's series that I want all the seasons for.

I didn't start watching so call TV until I was 20 and that was because I wanted to know what others were watching that made them act the way they did.

I still watch recorded media for much the same reasons.

I have a few hundred movies and series that I haven't watched yet. I will be good for awhile with a nice selection to go through.

I will buy most any movie or series if the price is right.

Sure is some "weird crap" that people are being programed with.

    Monkey see, monkey do.

Yeah .... the DVD's are pretty much obsolete technology now. They were good for their time but something better came along to replace them. It's the way of the world. Things are always growing and evolving. The only constant is change.

Nothing new under the sun as the $TRE$$ and anger grows and evolves.

There are the few and the many. I choose to be of the few that can see through the facades and illusions.

It's the Red Queen's Race these days bud. Either keep up or fall by the wayside and become irrelevant.

It's always been this way. It's all part of the grand design in nature. It's natural law this growth and evolution of things.

Stressful ? Yeah ... definitely. It's all a great competition for available resources. Take a walk through the woods or a stroll along the shoreline. You'll see it for what it is.

Problem is that most are busy trying lucky charms and magic chants to try and win the race.

And there are those that lie and cheat to try and win in the race of illusions.

All is fair in love & war. War is nothing more than a competition for resources. Even groups of animals out in the wild go to war with other groups of animals for territory and food resources.

This lying and cheating you speak of ... those are artificial human constructs. You don't actually believe in that nonsense do you ?

Some of the most successful in this great human competition are very adept at the art of deception. It's all part of the game.

LMAO ... say what you will but never fall into the trap of actually believing your own bull$hit. That's the worst illusion of all.

There are those that believe in forms of slavery and there are those that don't.

There are those that believe they are better and above others and there are those that don't.

Well ... the world isn't even CD. It never has been. Some folks are born with little or nothing and go on to do great things. Some folks never really do much of anything with their lives.

I suppose it all evens out in the end. The greatest and the least of us all end up as worm food.

Maybe it's what we do between the time we're born ... and the time we die ... that defines a life well lived.

Some folks are afraid to die. Some folks are afraid to live.

Anyhow ... we're kinda getting off track here again aren't we ? Who cares about the idle musings of a couple of old junkyard philosophers.

Some people believe that the earth/world is flat.

That says plenty about what some people choose to believe.

The problems start when peoples beliefs leave them stranded and confused.

Then off to find some better beliefs.

Not clear on what you mean. Could you elaborate a bit?
