    Work/play. play/work depending on how I feel

I was putting some thought into what I call my work/play or play/work depending on how I feel.

I have always viewed my work and play as one and the same. I've never really had what they called a Joe job on Wayne's World. I did have a job as a bag boy for the summer through a school work program. And I washed dishes in a Chinese restaurant for a bit as I liked the extra cash and the free food. Then in later years I would help out a friend with a floor cleaning business when one of his workers didn't show and he couldn't find anyone. I would put on one of his red shirts with his name on it and buff or sweep the floors in a large 24 hour grocery store.

I've always picked the type of jobs that I wanted from what was available. I'm a very fast learner in what interests me.

Even in the military it was work/play and play/work. I had a pretty cushy job in a secure area where I mostly did nothing, I found the military life interesting as it was more like being in the peace corps or such. I very rarely had a "gun" with me as it was peace time cold war and I was a engineer basically.

I was in Germany as I joined the military so I could travel to another country. I found it interesting that when in basic and AIT most others wanted to be stationed near their homes. Not many were interested in going to other states, let alone another country.

I view most concepts in much different ways then most others.

But back to the subject, I have had hobby businesses where it was mostly for fun and I have been business partners with others a few times, but that was mostly in fun also as most of my life has been powered by.

I've always viewed the world around me as backwards.

Like the people that didn't want to live on the same side of town as where they worked. If they lived on the same side of town they could walk to work in some cases.

And the people that travel around from east to west and west to east and north to south and south to north and such seeking the promised land to live and work. It's the distraction from point A to point B that they get high on. The thoughts of what they are leaving behind and the dreams of what's ahead for them. Most never find what they are seeking as they are going about it in a backwards way, simply put.

I put a lot of thought into most everything I do. I will spend many hours thinking about things that most others are not interested in putting the thought into.

I'm still 100% debt free as that was a very important part of the plan from the beginning.

I realized many scams put upon the larger society before others figured it out as best they could.

Life is what you make it,

Most just try and fake it...

I was thinking about how my life is much the same as a smart dogs life

I really don't view dogs and most other critters as below me and such. I view them as other living creatures that just want to go about their play/work as I do.

If you look at trained dogs in movies and such. How happy are they? I would say the answer is much the same as with humans. Some are happy and most are not because of their surroundings and environment.

I've had very smart dogs and a few that were not the sharpest tool in the shed. I had a coon hound show up one day. I tried to find his owner but couldn't, so he stayed with me until he went off and didn't return. He would be by me and a few minutes later he was way out in the woods barking at something. He was a very sweet dog and had a nose.

I had a sealed bag of chips on the dash and he was interested in them. He didn't try and eat them or such as he was well mannered. Just like to run and run. Couldn't keep him inside, on a chain or in a kennel as he would find a way to get loose or out.

But anywho, about the only important difference I see between smart dogs and humans is that dogs don't wear suits, carry cellphones and such unless they are performers.

I don't have any invisible people or whatever telling me that humans are better then the other lifeforms.

Humans can be like cockroaches and such.

Philosopher Kahlil Gibran once said :

The smallest act of kindness is worth more than the greatest intention.” “Beauty is not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.” “Generosity is giving more than you can, and pride is taking less than you need.” “Yesterday is but today's memory, and tomorrow is today's dream.”

    He also said:

" Work is love made visible. And if you can't work with love, but only with distaste, it's better that you should leave your work and sit at the gate of the temple and take alms of the people who work with joy."

The superstition and rituals have you blinded from figuring out just what makes me tick.

I have never met anyone else like me. I AM of the very few, you are of the many lonely people.
