I dunno ... i had not heard from a very good friend in his mid 80's in awhile. He dropped me an email the other day asking how things were going. I work with upwards of a hundred people a day. Have been since before the pandemic started.
The vaccine is in short supply here. He's getting vaccinated this week and felt that front line workers like myself really ought to get first dibs.
I explained to him that it really doesn't matter all that much either way ... to me. I would much rather the available supply go to somebody who really wants it like healthcare workers and the elderly.
Truth be told ... there are variants and mutations of the virus out in the wild now. The current vaccine may not be effective against them. It may be that the Covid virus is going to be with us for awhile just as the flu virus has been. We will get used to it.
